Dirk Denoyelle 40, Arenberg Theatre Antwerp, October 2nd 2004

October 2nd 2004: exactly 40 years after Dirk was born, he celebrated the occasion with a very special show in Antwerp. He also invited some of the people he imitated all these years, and some singing and other friends ON stage. That, the presence of VRT News and 800 friends and fans made it an incredible evening !

Downloas the programme brochure here (pdf) - in Dutch of course.

Famous TV-anchorman Jan Van Rompaey (right) interviewing the "real" VIc Anciaux (politician) and Bert Anciaux (also famous politcian, but played by Dirk) with LEGO version of Bert in the background.

All colleagues on stage received their portrait in LEGO mosaic after the show.

Parody on the VRT Radio2 comedy Show "The Raadkamer" with Dirk, Gili, Filip Pletinckx (radio producer), Herman Verbruggen (actor) and Frank Deboosere (weather forecaster)
Dirk Somers (Radio manager) used to co-present a radio show with Dirk
Louis Tobback (middle) was a very famous minister in Belgium until recently. Now he is the mayor of Leuven. Dirk became famous in Flanders because of his perfect imitation of Louis Tobback.
Herman Verbruggen (actor) played a splendid sketch about the inconveniences of growing 40... In "Opgenomen", Dirk's 2008-2009 theatre tour, Dirk recuperated the sketch.
Kris De Jean, Frank Deboosere, Dirk himself and the real Jan De Wilde (singer-songerwriter) on stage together in a once-in-a-lifetime event. As the latter said: a great experiment that will never be repeated...

All the guests with their LEGo version (except for Tobback who couldn't stay for the picture)
