Season 2005-2006 & 2006-2007:

"Het Laatste Vooroordeel" (The last Prejudice)

On November 19th 2005 the première of “Het Laatste Vooroordeel” took place in CC De Muze in Meise (just north of Brussels).

A few things had changed in comparison to previous shows.

"Het Laatste Vooroordeel" was played in a real set (designed by Hilde Verachtert - see picture on this page), and the show involved projection (with special thanks to Sanyo Benelux): there are videoclips to support some of the more difficult songs (some songs are in English, and not everybody understands the language perfectly) and there is a virtual 3D character in the show (made by Rudy Verbeeck and NAZOOKA, of course)

It is also the first show where Dirk fully collaborates with his very good friend Danny Braem to write the text. Up until now Dirk wrote all texts himself. But this time he wants to see what good it can do to do things together.

Another new element is that there actually IS a story. Previously only "De Stemmen ge(s)temd" had a true storyline. All other shows were conglomerates of songs and sketches.

Also from this show the single "Blijf van mij" was released (click here) .

This show was supported by RADIO 2.

Thanks also to An Lovink vfor helping to create the voice of Rubens, Paul Heyninck, Marc Dierckx and Steve Beirnaert for their advice on singing matters, and Bamse Augusteyns and Tine Rabijns for the pianolessons.
