Dirk is the founder of "Digitalistic Cubism" a notion he invented in a sketch from his theatre show "Tijd" (Time). In that sketch he plays famous Flemish singer and sculpturor Willem Vermandere, who is talking about a selfportrait he made out of LEGO bricks.

Dirk is very much involved with LEGO. He even is godfather for BELUG, the club of Belgian Adult LEGO Fans. Dirk specialises in making mosaics and 3D-heads of famous and other people.
