De Belgian Connection brings together Bucharest's finest

Luk Vangansbeke is a special man. He lives in Mechelen (Belgium) part-time. He works in Bucharest (Romania) full-time. He is the driving force behind "The Belgian Connection": a group of Belgians who bring together other ex-pats for a drink or an other acitivity. Luk is also representative for Flemings in the world (VIW), and he saw Dirk performing at a meeting in Belgium in the summer of 2008. The plan was made immediately: Dirk would travel to Bucharest and perform for the Belgian Connection. And so it happened.

The audience consisted of Belgians and Romanians, but also ambassadors from all over the world were present. The audience espacially appreciated the fact that Dirk had built a lot of Romanian details in his show.
