Leuven, Concert by Kortjakje , January 8, 2005

Dirk was invited at the new year's concert by Kortjakje, Amadeus and Amadeeke. These are groups of young violinists, learning how to play the instrument with the Suzuki-method. Over 70 yougsters filled the stage of the beautiful City Theatre in Louvain.

It was a very enthusiastic performance, and even very difficult pieces ( Mendelssohn !) were perfectly performed.

Dirk's task was to present the concert, but in a very original way. All texts were new year's letters which he had "retrieved" form the archives of famous composers. He had written them himself, of course, but the fairy tale worked perfectly !
